[ET Net News Agency, 25 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$133
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$22.41 billion, or 16.85% of the market's
turnover. There were 782 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W (09988) saw
higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.69 billion and HK$2.47 billion, or 11.98%
and 11.04% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
54.09% and 20.13% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1.78 billion and HK$1.33
billion of short sales, accounting for 7.93% and 5.92% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 51.77% and 22.04% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.07, or 1.29%, to HK$5.495. BABA-W ended up HK$3.7, or 2.39%,
to HK$158.2. HSCEI ETF rose HK$0.78, or 0.84% to HK$93.42. TRACKER FUND jumped HK$0.18, or
0.7%, to HK$26.
