[ET Net News Agency, 21 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$285.7 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$47.21 billion, or 16.52% of the
market's turnover. There were 840 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W
(01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.95 billion and HK$3.45
billion, or 10.5% and 7.31% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 35.69% and 21.83% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.93 billion and HK$2.55 billion of
short sales, accounting for 6.2% and 5.39% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 13.96% and 17.58% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.2, or 3.66%, to HK$5.27. XIAOMI-W ended up HK$0.38, or
1.01%, to HK$38.08. BABA-W fell HK$7.2, or 4.65% to HK$147.6. TENCENT declined by HK$11,
or 1.77%, to HK$610.
