[ET Net News Agency, 21 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$150.47 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$22.8 billion, or 15.15% of the
market's turnover. There were 801 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.1 billion and HK$1.97
billion, or 9.23% and 8.65% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 22.25% and 36.49% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.75 billion and HK$988.05 million of
short sales, accounting for 7.69% and 4.33% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 14.37% and 16.69% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W closed down HK$0.3, or 0.8%, to HK$37.4. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.175, or
3.2%, to HK$5.295. BABA-W fell HK$6.3, or 4.07% to HK$148.5. TENCENT declined by HK$10, or
1.61%, to HK$611.
