HK$143.58 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$28.65 billion, or 19.95% of the
market's turnover. There were 779 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.52 billion and HK$2.32
billion, or 26.24% and 8.1% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 45.02% and 34.76% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.52 billion and HK$1.12 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.29% and 3.9% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 25.32% and 13.25% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.02, or 0.08%, to HK$26. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.055, or
1%, to HK$5.44. BABA-W fell HK$1.2, or 0.77% to HK$155.2. XIAOMI-W declined by HK$1.38, or
3.55%, to HK$37.44.
