[ET Net News Agency, 17 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$217.61 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$44.52 billion, or 20.46% of the
market's turnover. There were 802 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$9.48 billion and HK$5.25
billion, or 21.31% and 11.79% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 51.88% and 29.76% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$3.04 billion and HK$1.23 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.82% and 2.76% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 59.5% and 13.98% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.2, or 0.75%, to HK$26.52. BABA-W ended flat, to HK$154.9.
CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.055, or 0.96% to HK$5.65. TENCENT declined by HK$4.5, or 0.7%, to
HK$636.5.
