HK$134.78 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.69 billion, or 16.1% of the
market's turnover. There were 752 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.87 billion and HK$1.28
billion, or 8.62% and 5.91% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 17.86% and 20.66% of respective stock's turnover.
KUAISHOU-W (01024) and BIDU-SW (09888) registered HK$1.1 billion and HK$1.07 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.08% and 4.91% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 31.81% and 49.07% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W closed up HK$2, or 1.09%, to HK$185.1. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.075, or
1.14%, to HK$6.485. KUAISHOU-W fell HK$3.15, or 3.43% to HK$88.7. BIDU-SW declined by
HK$1, or 0.72%, to HK$138.2.
