HK$278.22 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$47 billion, or 16.9% of the market's
turnover. There were 744 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$10.6 billion and HK$2.82
billion, or 22.55% and 5.99% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 48.42% and 48.2% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$2.24 billion and HK$2.02 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.77% and 4.3% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 23.21% and 18.18% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.04, or 0.16%, to HK$25.62. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.035, or 0.64%, to HK$5.445. TENCENT rose HK$5.5, or 0.94% to HK$592.5. HSCEI ETF
declined by HK$0.34, or 0.37%, to HK$92.06.
