[ET Net News Agency, 19 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$211.43 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$41.91 billion, or 19.82% of the
market's turnover. There were 791 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$6.09 billion and HK$5.53
billion, or 14.52% and 13.19% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 35.41% and 54.03% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.52 billion and HK$2.3 billion of
short sales, accounting for 6.02% and 5.5% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 13.44% and 20.7% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.08, or 0.31%, to HK$25.98. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.035, or 0.63%, to HK$5.495. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.96, or 4.81% to HK$38.82. BABA-W
jumped HK$1.8, or 1.16%, to HK$156.4.
