[ET Net News Agency, 19 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$112.57 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$18.96 billion, or 16.84% of the
market's turnover. There were 766 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.95 billion and HK$2.22
billion, or 15.54% and 11.71% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 38.14% and 41.22% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.45 billion and HK$1.17 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.64% and 6.17% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 14.23% and 17.95% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.12, or 0.46%, to HK$25.94. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.05, or 0.9%, to HK$5.48. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.76, or 4.32% to HK$39.02. BABA-W jumped
HK$0.8, or 0.52%, to HK$155.4.
