[ET Net News Agency, 18 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$242.11 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$41.34 billion, or 17.08% of the
market's turnover. There were 819 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.53 billion and HK$2.73
billion, or 8.54% and 6.61% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 22.05% and 20.73% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$2.4 billion and HK$1.79 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.81% and 4.32% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 31.25% and 20.42% of respective stock's
turnover.
BABA-W closed down HK$0.3, or 0.19%, to HK$154.6. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.46, or
1.73%, to HK$26.06. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.12, or 2.12% to HK$5.53. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$1.18, or 2.81%, to HK$40.78.
